Like any medication, meter dose inhalers can cause side effects. Common side effects include throat irritation. This is largely due to the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) which had nothing to do with the inhaler.
How often should meter dose inhalers be used?
The frequency of meter dose inhaler use depends on the specific medication and the severity of your condition. We are choosing to introduce our product with our own designed compound. This will be conducted under a clinical trial setting approved by the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA).

This means our pMDI can monitor up to five medications and ensure the patient is using the correct cartridge at the proper dosing time. Each cartridge has a unique identifier, and in the event of a medicine recall, the Nutraceuticals Optimist will lock to prevent future dispensing.
How Do Notifications Work on your pMDI?
Alerts caregivers and patients when it’s time to dispense medication, when it’s time to switch from a daytime to a nighttime formula and when the medicine cartridge is nearing depletion which in turn initiates an automated in-app refill order form.
